(Mindful Reality is a self-inquiry practice I have developed and presented in my three books, “Body Over Mind: A Mindful Reality Check: attaining psychological freedom by confronting thought with reality,” “The Myth of Doing: managing guilt, shame, anxiety, regret and self-judgment,” and “Reality in Action: How We Spend Our Time: addressing worry, fear, doubt, and self-blame.” This work combats anxiety, depression and stressful thoughts that stem from worry, self-blame and the belief that we must do something to fix our life. Grounded in what I call our “physical reality,” we learn to counter inner judgment and “should” thoughts with an awareness that we must always be doing whatever we are doing. Negative thoughts that make us feel like we are not living our life correctly are put up against the knowledge that we can each do only the things we are doing in each moment, as anything else is physically impossible. Acceptance, ease of mind, and healing are the goals.)

A great listen, Jill! I am plagued by anxiety and should thoughts a lot. It's helpful to think about it in the way you explained - ai cannot do the action I think I should be doing because my body is currently doing another action.
I found your thoughts on "now" really interesting too.
Plus your voice is very calming! Glad you're back!
